A qualification is where the craft started.
Japie completed South Africa’s national Trade Test as a cabinet maker in 1995. Three decades of practical work since then have built the judgement that matters: proportion, material choice, strong joinery, clean fitting and knowing when an idea needs to be improved before timber is cut.
